What I Do

I don't just build things — I build things you can actually own, modify, and understand. Here's how.

Automation & Robotics

Custom automation that works the way you need it to — not the way a vendor says you should.

  • You own every line of code and every design file. No black boxes, no subscription traps, no "the machine is broken" when the vendor disappears.
  • Built for reliability, not planned obsolescence. Industrial-grade systems designed to last decades, not quarters. If it breaks, you fix it — or I help you fix it.
  • Efficiency that compounds. Every automated process saves time now and frees up capacity for the next improvement cycle.

Open Source Hardware & Software

Technology that belongs to everyone — including you. Full transparency, full control.

  • Inspect everything. Every circuit board, every line of firmware, every mechanical drawing is open for review and modification.
  • No vendor lock-in, ever. When your supplier goes under (and they will), you're not stranded. The knowledge stays with you.
  • Better than proprietary because it's tested by more eyes. Open source isn't just ethical — it's technically superior for critical systems.

Sustainability & Circularity Consulting

Helping businesses minimize waste and embed circularity into their operations — without sacrificing performance.

  • Circularity isn't a cost center — it's an efficiency multiplier. Reducing material waste, extending product lifecycles, and designing for disassembly all save money while reducing environmental impact.
  • Practical implementation, not greenwashing. I work with real materials, real manufacturing processes, and real supply chains to build systems that are actually sustainable — not just marketed as such.
  • Biomaterials, repairability, and design for disassembly aren't trends. They're the only way forward for responsible engineering.

In-Loco Technology & Data Sovereignty

Technology that runs where you put it. Your data stays yours — no cloud dependency, no third-party access.

  • Your data never leaves your premises. On-site processing means complete privacy by architecture, not by policy.
  • No internet required to function. Systems that work when the network doesn't — critical for industrial environments and remote deployments.
  • You control the infrastructure. When you own your servers and your software, nobody can change terms, raise prices, or shut you out.

My Approach

I believe technology should serve people and planet — not the other way around. Here's how that translates into every project.

01

Start with ownership, not features

Before we talk about what a system can do, we establish who controls it. Every design decision flows from the principle that you — not a vendor, not a cloud provider — are in charge of your technology stack.

02

Design for understanding

If you can't understand how it works, you don't own it — you rent it. I build systems that are transparent by design: open schematics, documented firmware, clear documentation. Complexity is managed through clarity, not obscurity.

03

Minimize waste at every layer

From material selection to energy consumption to end-of-life planning — sustainability isn't an afterthought. It's a constraint that makes the design better, leaner, and more resilient.

04

Build for repairability

The most sustainable system is one that can be fixed. Standard components, accessible design, and complete documentation mean your technology lasts decades instead of years.

Proof It Works

This isn't theory. Here's what I've built and delivered.

Open Source Robotics

Cable-Driven Collaborative Robotic Arm

A fully open-source 5–7 DOF collaborative robot built with additive manufacturing. Custom high-precision encoders, Verilog FPGA inverse kinematics, ESP32 control — all designs and code publicly available.

Medical Automation

Prep96 Automated Homogenizer

Co-led the complete redesign of an automated lab homogenizer for Pfizer and Moderna labs. Migrated legacy systems to modern PLC+HMI architecture, achieving 99.99% uptime on redesigned systems.

AI & Computer Vision

Transmission Line Inspection System

Full-stack AI image analysis for infrastructure inspection — from data acquisition and neural network training to WinUI frontend delivery. Optimized client engineering processes by 40%.

Let's Build Something That Lasts
